I rubbed some wheel bearing grease onto the felt that the dryer tub spins on

And it seemed to quiet dryer a bit?l had already lubed the belt pulley and

cleaned and lubed the rollers.But the dryer had this clicking sound on

each revolution.So some light grease around the felt seating rotational

WHAT A MAROON. It dosen't matter, you trashed your dryer. When

the grease gets hot on the felt it will get all over your clothes.

Oil or grease anywhere inside the dryer is not advisable. There  
Sugah Buggah
is always a small amount of lint floating inside any dryer, & this lint

will adhere to any glue or oil & gum up causing problems

my concern would be fire from the oil based grease with the

heat from the friction of the drum turning. I would have oiled the pulley
